Reignite Your Purpose
In 2021, after serving 8 years as a professor, I felt called to return to the K-12 classroom. Being back with students and passionate educators almost immediately helped me reconnect to my original calling as a teacher. However, over time, like many educators, I felt drained and saw my light begin to dim. I challenged myself to find a way to remain the light for my students, their families, and my colleagues, to stay meaningfully connected to my calling and help others do the same. From this mission, Remain the Light was born.
